Summer Fancy Food Show Sizzles with Delights
The 66th Summer Fancy Food Show took place this June at Javitis Center. The largest specialty food industry event in North America, and the premier showcase for industry innovation was a roaring success.

The 2019 Summer Show took place from Sunday, June 23 to June 25. The Specialty Food Association’s Summer Fancy Food Show brought together thousands of food buyers, brokers and distributors with over 2,400
exhibitors, including 239 companies from New York, and international
exhibitors from 54 nations.  

Highlights included:  
Loacker, the global leader for high quality wafers, had various wafers, patisseries and chocolate specialties, as well as get a sneak peek at the new Matcha Green Tea Quadratini and Double Choc Classic Wafer.  

Veggies Made Great by Garden Lites, the leader in unique veggie-rich foods, debuted Frittatas and Veggie Cakes. Tastes were had of the incredibly successful Spinach Egg White Frittata and Veggie Bacon, Potato & Egg Frittata and new Broccoli Cheddar, Mushroom & 3 Cheese Egg White Frittata. Veggies Made Great Frittatas meet the growing consumer demand for healthy plant-based food. Like all the items from Veggies Made Great, veggies are the #1 ingredient, they are Gluten Free, and remarkably delicious.  Frittatas have the added benefit of high protein and made with only clean and simple ingredients.

Urbani Truffles featured delicious bites and featured products from their successful line of black and white truffles.

Sugar Bowl Bakery, one of the largest family- and minority-owned bakeries in America was a sweet find. Sugar Bowl Bakery showcased its delicious line of products including Madeleines, Petite Palmiers, Brownie Bites and more.

Charleston, S.C.-based producer of all natural handcrafted cocktail mixers, Bittermilk LLC proprietors Joe and MariElena showcased unique variations of their proprietary cocktails using products from their two brands, Bittermilk and Barcoop Bevy, along with modifiers, garnishes or other ingredients.

Brooklyn Food & Beverage is a Bushwick, Brooklyn-based manufacturer and distributor that brought world-class craft beverages made with all-natural ingredients. Product lines include craft Ginger Beers, and a few new exciting launches in the hopper – Calamansi Ade and Herbal Teas which were featured.
