T2C’s Christmas Song List: Part 3 Melonie Daniels-Walker

Over at Nutcracker Cool at Feinstein’s/ 54 Below Norm Lewis is joined each performance by a special guest. The brilliant Melonie Daniels-Walker joined Norm on a bluesy “O’ Come All Ye Faithful”. Melonie then sang a mesmerizing “What Child Is This.”

Today you get two for one.

Daniels is a consummate professional, personable performer and exacting melodist. Shesang back-up Kirk Franklin, Kim Burrell, Greater Allen Cathedral, Mariah Carey, Andre Crouch, Donald Lawrence, Fred Hammond and Karen Clark-Sheard. Daniels’ voice has been heard on television theme songs. You may remember the theme song from the UPN show, Half & Half. Yes. That was Melonie.

Formally and classically trained, Daniels is capable of taking the limits of singing and pushing them further.

Make sure you check out our Christmas song list, we found some amazing vintage clips.
