The Cast of Waitress Including Katharine McPhee Raise over $10,000.00 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS

Last night the cast of Broadway’s hit musical Waitress including new star Katharine McPhee raised over $10,000.00 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Broadway’s newest intimate concert venue celebrated the music of the show’s composer Sara Bareilles. As a special surprise Bareilles also attended though did not sing.

The band includes music director Adam Kaufman on piano, Ryan Vona on guitar, Jon Epcar on drums, Jeff Allen on bass, Alex Foote on guitar, and Yair Evnine on cello.

The Green Room 42 recently celebrated its one year anniversary as the theater district’s premiere destination for live music and events. The 140-seat space lets audiences experience shows up close and personal. During the shows, guests can enjoy Mediterranean-inspired dishes alongside signature cocktails, craft beer and wine with no food/drink minimum. Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret, opera and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. She has a screenplay and a TV show in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog.
