The Crown Rooftoop Opens in Chinatown and Takes the Summer Gold

Summer is here and there was no better way to celebrate the start with the grand launch of Chef Dale Talde’s new collaboration of The Crown’s rooftop cocktail bar at Hotel 50 Bowery this past week.

Chinatown is buzzing about this fantastic new venue that you have to see to believe. Offering guests expansive views of lower Manhattan and Brooklyn, The Crown offers guests a variety of Asian-inspired cocktails, in addition to a small menu of rotating globally-inspired street food, both international and domestic.

This is a place of stunning views and beauty to go along with fantastic delights that will have any foodie applauding with joy.

The unique cocktail program includes favorites like: The Crown Manhattan, with Rittenhouse Rye, Carpano Antica, Szechuan tincture and bitters; the East India, with Fords gin, Pimms, lemongrass, ginger, cucumber and lime; the Black Dragon, with Elyx vodka, oolong tea, green tea, spiced calamansi; and the Slush Cocktail, which features a Lemon Lime Rickey base slush flavored with tropical fruit mixes. The Slush Cocktail will change seasonally, driven by the produce of Chinatown, including dragon fruit, papaya, lychee and tamarind.  A variety of mocktails will be available, as will beer, wine, sake and soju, by the glass or bottle.

The Three Kings have brought together an extraordinary group of talented industry folks to sculpt the perfect management team, including: Chef Peter Jin, the Executive Chef under Dale; Justin Gonzalez, who serves as the Director of F&B for the hotel; Valerie Feingold, who serves as the Assistant General Manager; and Alexandra Weiss, who is a manager overseeing all three concepts. Bill Riley, who is the Corporate Beverage Director for the Three Kings Restaurant Group, worked closely with partner John Bush, to craft the cocktail list.
