The Making of a Cast Recording With Desperate Measures

Ever wonder what it takes to make a cast recording? Well the adorable team at Desperate Measures made you a video so you can see how it’s done.

With music by David Friedman and book and lyrics by Peter Kellogg, you are sure to be smiling and throughly entertained by this must have cast album. The show stars Gary Marachek, Laurin Molina, Sarah Parnicky, Conor Ryan, Peter Saide and Nick Wyman and is produced by Pat Addiss, The York Theatre and Mary Cossette.

Desperate Measures follows the dangerously handsome Johnny Blood, who’s life is on the line, he must put his fate into the hands of a colorful cast of characters including a mysterious sheriff, an eccentric priest, an authoritarian governor, a saloon girl gone good, and a nun out of the habit. Before the sun sets, will they rise up and pull off the greatest caper yet, or will Johnny be left hanging? This witty and wild new musical comedy takes the Bard’s Measure for Measure and shakes things up.

Desperate Measures: New World Stages #4 at 340 West 50th Street.
