The National Alliance for Musical Theatre is Now Accepting Submissions for 2019 Festival of New Musicals

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre is now accepting submissions for our 2019 Festival of New Musicals, which will take place on Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25, 2019 at New World Stages in NYC.

Any new musical that is complete and ready for development (reading, workshop or production) but has not been on Broadway or licensed by a major licensing house is encouraged to submit to the Festival. Shows at every stage of development have benefited from participating in the Festival: from shows having their very first reading to those that have had multiple regional productions. The Festival is the best way to get your show in front of producers and theatres from around the world interested in developing, producing and presenting new musicals!

Head over to www.namt.org today to learn more about the Festival and to submit your show!

Questions? Join us for a Q&A session! We will host two Festival Submission Q&A sessions in New York City and one online session for any writers or producers interested in submitting shows. We will walk through the application process with the attendees and provide tips for a successful submission. The in-person sessions will take place on November 27 and December 11, both from 5:30pm-6:30pm in Studio B at A.R.T./New York (520 8th Ave, 3rd Floor). The online session will take place on December 3 at 1pm ET. Click here to register for a Q&A session
