The Pierre Hotel inaugurates a new cabaret series with KT Sullivan’s tribute to Barbara Cook!

Legendary Broadway star and vocalist Barbara Cook was introduced to the world of cabaret through acclaimed musical director and composer Wally Harper. Their decades-long collaboration sparked an amazing second act that also inspired Oklahoma native Sullivan as she began her own journey through song. In I Can Cook, she pays tribute to both Barbara and Wally with a setlist featuring Sing A Song With Me and It’s Better With A Band (both written by Harper) as well as classics arranged by Wally for Barbara such as Sweet Georgia BrownYou and II Love A PianoIf Love Were AllDancing In The DarkWait till You See Him,and of course, I Can Cook.

Cabaret At The Pierre takes place in The Pierre’s Two E Lounge. Ticket price includes set menu of canapés, welcome drink and one-hour performance. Doors open at 7:30pm. Performance begins at 8:30pm.

Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. Currently she has a screenplay in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog. She was the Broadway Informer on the all access cable TV Show “The New Yorkers,” soon to be “The Tourist Channel.” email: suzanna@t2conline.com
