The Prom’s Korean Performer, Joomin Hwang, will be joining Maya Avisar and the Alliance of Alien Artists in Broadway Around the WorldMay 28th 9:30pmat Feinstein’s/54 Below Broadway’s Supper Club

Feinstein’s/54 Below, Broadway’s Supper Club, presents Maya Avisar and the Alliance of Alien Artists in Broadway Around the World on Tuesday, May 28th at 9:30pm. As a celebration of musical theatre around the globe with fresh arrangements and music direction by Assaf Gleizner (“The Office” musical parody, “Friends” musical parody), Broadway Around the World takes the audience on a musical expedition.The show will feature favorite show-tunes throughout the years, performed in the singers’ native tongue: Hebrew, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, French and more. Broadway Around the World is a celebration of languages, uniqueness, and diversity with a common love: music.The concert will perform Tuesday, May 28 at 9:30pm and will feature international performers from around the world: Maya Avisar (Israel), Jessica Rookeward (Australia), Gara Roda (Spain), Catie Shelley (Canada), Pedro Coppeti (Brazil), Felipe Joglar (Chile), and special guests Joomin Hwang (South Korea), who is currently performing on Broadway in the new musical The Prom. Hwang, a native Korean, moved to the United States just several years ago, and will be joining the organization’s concert to support and empower international performers.

After a successful performance at The Green Room 42 in March, the organization is excited to bring the popular concert to Broadway’s Supper Club: Feinstein’s/54 Below.The Alliance of Alien Artists is an organization founded to empower and support international performers in the pursuit of their career in the United States. Donations to the organization are tax-deductible, and help the Alliance create more opportunities for international performers in any stage of their career. Magda Katz has been in the entertainment world for most of her life as a child actress, assistant to the head publicist of Avco Embassy Pictures, theatrical print agent. She went on to manage the show business career of her 2 children for over 15 years. For the last five years Magda has been filming and editing video trailers of live performances as well as celebrity interviews. Broadway After Dark was the first website to feature her video trailers. She contributed in creating a star studded 90th birthday party for Mickey Rooney at Feinstein’s at the Regency Hotel.
