The Winter Show to Host Connoisseur’s Night

The Winter Show’s 65th Anniversary Sapphire Jubilee is hosting a wonderful celebration this upcoming Friday.

Connoisseur’s Night will take place January 25th from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at the Park Avenue Armory. Nearly 100 of the world’s most renowned specialists covering 5000 years of museum quality art will be on hand for artful conversations. Guests will mingle and get to experience the glorious exhibits The Winter Show has to offer.

The leading art, antiques, and design fair in America, the annual affair also benefits the fantastic East Side House Settlement, a community-based organization serving the Bronx and northern Manhattan. The show’s 2019 edition features the world’s leading experts in the fine and decorative arts, alongside a series of lectures and panel discussions and this year’s Loan Exhibition, Collecting Nantucket, Connecting the World, organized by the Nantucket Historical Association.

Led by Executive Director Helen Allen and Associate Executive Director Michael Diaz-Griffith, The Winter Show builds on its esteemed reputation, offering a dynamic display of fine and decorative arts from around the world.

All net proceeds from the Fair’s general admission, the Opening Night Party and all other special events benefit East Side House and contribute substantially to its philanthropic budget. East Side House Settlement is a community-based organization located in the South Bronx. Recognizing education as the key to economic and civic opportunity, East Side House works with schools, community centers, and other partners to bring quality education and resources to individuals in need, helping approximately 10,000 residents of the Bronx and Northern Manhattan improve their lives each year.

Tickets for the night are $25 and can be bought here.
