Tribeca Film Festival Hosts TFI Interactive

Tribeca Film Festival Hosts TFI Interactive

During the Tribca Film Festival TFI Interactive gathered the brightest thinkers and innovators from the worlds of media, art, gaming, technology and activism to investigate the role of new media in various industries. This year, TFI Interactive hosted 9 U.S. premieres and 7 world premieres including VR experiences. The projects range from experiencing the last four minutes of a celebrities death, the experience of being a “ghost,” to conversations around police brutality and the Black Lives Matter movement.

Open workshops on new technologies, such as holographic art and electric paint; large scale exercises on storytelling led by industry experts; and experimental forums on social issues all took place.

Continuing from years past, TFI Interactive featured a Speaker Conference with leading voices in technology and related field. Additionally, the Interactive Playground will continue to offer an opportunity to connect to and experiment with a wide array of technology-driven projects including virtual reality, gaming, apps, etc.
