Up Close and Personal With Joe Iconis

T2C sat down for a one on one with Joe Iconis best known for his musical contributions to the TV show Smash.  One of the top new talents of the showtune cabaret and rock and roll musical world. Starting tonight, April 10th he brings his sounds to Feinstein’s/54 Below. Iconis penned the musicals Be More Chill (Two River Theater, cast recording by Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records), the Drama Desk Award-nominated Bloodsong of Love, The Black Suits, ReWrite, and The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks, as well as the theatrical concert Things to Ruin (cast recording now available on Ghostlight Records). Cabaret

Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. Currently she has a screenplay in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog.
