Dixon finds the heart of Judas about “when you make the message about Jesus, about the man, you lose. Judas loved Jesus and was loved by him. He is human, neither good nor bad. We refuse to see ourselves as a spectrum.”

Dixon started performing in high school in shows like The Music Man, Pirates of Penzance and The Nutcracker. He credits his teacher Mrs. Worth.

He worked with costume designer Paul Tazwell in Hamilton.

“This role is vocally challenging, but I hope to bring out the humanity and sensitivity of Judas, I would like to widen the aperture and shine some light into this character,” states Dixon.
