Who To Watch On The Tony Awards Tonight

Bruce Springsteen will rock the house around 10:30, John Leguizamo will make us laugh, hosts Sara Bareilles and Josh Groban should be singing. Here they are doing a musical preview on Colbert this week:

Plus, there will be numbers from the casts in the Best Musical category: “The Band’s Visit” (which will bring home a Tony), “Frozen,” “Mean Girls” and “SpongeBob Squarepants.”

There will also be additional performances from the casts of the Best Revival of a Musical category: “Carousel,” “My Fair Lady,” “Once on This Island” and “Summer: The Donna Summer Musical.”

A performance from last years Best Musical “Dear Evan Hansen,” which also won 6 Tony’s last year. They are launching their first national tour in Denver this summer.

To watch the Tony Awards red carpet pre-show, head to the Tony Awards on CBS‘ Facebook page, where CBS will be streaming live coverage from the Tony Awards red carpet. The coverage will begin at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT with host Denny Directo.

 

The Tony Awards are live at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday beginning at 8 p.m.
