Wishing Trees Along Madison Avenue For The Year of The Pig

Wishing Trees Along Madison Avenue For The Year of The Pig

Since ancient times, hanging wishes on wishing trees for the New Year is synonymous with luck and good fortune, and is believed to encourage dreams to come true. And they will come true on Madison Avenue! From February 9-16, participating East Midtown Partnership retailers will be giving away traditional wishing ribbons that shoppers can then hang, tie, or toss on to our wishing trees!

From Saturday February 9th -Saturday February 16th the participating districts will supply their retailers along Madison Avenue with wishing tags to provide to customers, so they can add their well wishes for the year to come to the nearest tree. Locations will include:

  • East Midtown Partnership (EMP): 525 Madison, between 53rd and 54th Streets
  • Madison Avenue Partnership (MAP): 706 Madison between 62nd and 63rd Streets
  • Grand Central Partnership (GCP): 346 Madison, on the corner of 44th Street
