The First Snow of 2017

Times Square

The year’s first snowfall gave us five inches of snow in Central Park. Winds gusting more than 20 mph also caused close to 300 flight cancellations and more than 200 delays at Kennedy, LaGuardia and Newark Airports.

The snow has mostly disappeared in Manhattan, but the accompanying cold temperatures are expected to dip into the teens, with the wind chill dropping into single digits.
