Broadway Barks Up A Storm Today

The 18th annual edition of Broadway Barks, the star-studded dog and cat adoption event is in full swing today. This free event, produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, is held in Shubert Alley (located between 44th and 45th Streets, between Broadway and Eighth Avenues). Beginning at 3 PM attendees meet all the adoptable dogs and cats; celebrity presentations of adoptable pets will take place beginning at 5 PM and continue to 6:30 PM.

The afternoon will feature hundreds of adoptable animals from 27 animal rescue groups.

By drawing upon the talents, resources and generosity of the American theatre community, since 1988 BC/EFA has raised more than $285 million for essential services for people with AIDS and other critical illnesses across the United States.

Suzanna, co-owns and publishes the newspaper Times Square Chronicles or T2C. At one point a working actress, she has performed in numerous productions in film, TV, cabaret, opera and theatre. She has performed at The New Orleans Jazz festival, The United Nations and Carnegie Hall. She has a screenplay and a TV show in the works, which she developed with her mentor and friend the late Arthur Herzog.
